Fingerprinting services are only offered on Mondays and Wednesdays during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The City of St. Charles Police Department provides civilian fingerprinting services to its residents at no charge. All non-residents will be charged a fee of $12.00 for fingerprinting services per set of two fingerprint cards. Fees may be paid between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. Non-residents may pay for these services at the records division window located inside the St. Charles Police department. Any non-resident requesting fingerprinting services after 4:00 p.m. must present a paid receipt from the records division. All receipts are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
The service provides for the completion of a maximum of 2 fingerprint cards. Verification of residency is required at the time of all fingerprint requests. The following documents may be used to verify residency:
• Missouri Driver’s License or State Identification Card
• A Utility service Invoice
• Property tax documents
• Vehicle registration
It is the policy of the St. Charles Police Department not to return the fingerprint cards to the applicant/requestor. Therefore, any additional documents in which the applicant requests to be sent with their fingerprint cards should be placed in a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope large enough to avoid bending the fingerprint cards. The St. Charles Police Department will mail the documents the following day. If you have additional questions, you may call the St. Charles Police Department In-house officer at (636) 949-3520.
