Fire and Emergency Medical Services
Your St. Charles Fire Department – much more than you might think of as a fire department – is made up of talented men and women dedicated to your humanitarian needs. We provide a host of services to help you prevent and manage every emergency imaginable. In addition to fighting fire, we provide emergency medical services and vehicle rescue services. You might be surprised to learn our special operations teams provide water rescue, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, confined space rescue, structural collapse rescue and disaster response.

SIGN UP FOR FREE CPR TRAINING
The Fire Department is having monthly CPR classes the first Saturday of every month. These classes are available to City and non-City residents. The cost is $17 if you'd like to be certified but, otherwise, the class is free. Contact the City Fire Department Administration office at 636-949-3250 to sign up today!
CERT Training
The Fire Department will be offering Community Emergency Response Team Training for $25. The goal is for emergency personnel to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, or workplaces in basic response skills. CERT members are then integrated into the emergency response based on their capabilities and experience.
If a disastrous event overwhelms or delays the community's professional response, CERT members can assist others from the information they take away from this training. To apply for CERT training, click the button below.
