For many years, the Commission has participated in Baue’s annual Health Fair, and assisted with the annual “Medication Return Day” at the St. Charles Police Station. More recently, we sponsored an Activities Fair for Seniors and a Fashion Show, which have both become annual events. We have had a float in Lindenwood’s Homecoming Parade during the fall, followed by a sock hop, and in 2022 we held a “Senior Prom”. We are most proud of the designations of Age Friendly City, awarded by AARP and the Dementia Friendly City, awarded by Dementia Friends. All of these activities were made possible by the support of the City of St. Charles and our close association with our partners.
