The Human Relations Commission is dedicated to working alongside the City to improve the quality of life for all residents and visitors. To help focus our efforts and measure our progress, we review and work to improve, our MEI score. The Human Rights Campaign annually evaluates and scores communities, creating a Municipal Equality Index. They look at how inclusive municipal laws, policies, and services are of LGBTQ people who live and work there.
