The purpose of the Arts & Culture Commission is to:
- improve artistic and cultural opportunities within the City of St. Charles
- make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council
- review suggestions for artistic and cultural projects, programs, festivals to be undertaken
- develop guidelines for funding projects or awarding grants
- encourage private participation and volunteer involvement in the various projects, programs and festivals
- establish awards and recognition programs as appropriate to recognize artistic and cultural achievement within the City of St. Charles
Meetings
The Arts & Culture Commission meets as needed, typically on the 2nd Monday at 6:30 p.m.
